# The Five-Second LinkedIn Profile Test

Open your LinkedIn profile on a phone. Give yourself five seconds for each question.

## The test

- Can the right client tell who you help?
- Can they tell what result you help create?
- Can they understand it without knowing your framework or terminology?
- Does the banner reinforce the same promise as the headline?
- Does the Featured section offer one useful next step?
- Does the About section explain the problem in the buyer's language?
- Can someone contact or book you without hunting?

## Score

- 6–7 yes: Your profile is clear enough to test with real traffic.
- 3–5 yes: The pieces are present, but the promise or next step is fragmented.
- 0–2 yes: Do not add more content yet. Fix the profile promise first.

## First repair

Write one sentence:

> I help [specific buyer] get [desired result] from/through [channel or method] without [painful alternative].

Read it aloud. Remove any word the buyer would ask you to explain.
